About Me

  The purpose of this site originally formed as a personal learning journal of my own technology in education experiences, and has since developed into providing insight for the use of technology tools within education. Topics will provide "how-to" information, as well as tips and tricks for popular tools used within education. Many topics cover issues faced by me or colleagues working with these tools with real students every day.


   As an educator, I strive to instill a love for learning, and provide my students with appropriate skills to be lifelong learners' as well as productive members of any community. I hold the status of a Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) of secondary level science with a Master's Degree in Education. I am also endorsed as a K-12 technology integration specialist. I have been teaching secondary level science since 2008.

   I have been invited to teach various professional development sessions through VITA learn, which have all been focused around the use of educational technology tools that have the potential to enhance student learning, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication.
